Greetings folks

...

Thanks once again to sponsors Forgerock and Saviynt

Meanwhile, with the generous support of ID.me for supplying editing resources, work continues apace on the NIST SP 800-63-3 Service Assessment Criteria for identity & credential service providers whose solutions are utilized by relying parties online.  Consent Receipt topped our downloads this month, beating our regular winner, the Identity Assurance Framework document suite that underpins Kantara's Trust Framework Operations Program.  And on the Personal Data side of the house, the V1.1 of the Consent Receipt is near final, while accompanying GDPR-related new work items are being prepped and planned for announcement. The first of those will be the Consent Management Systems Best Practice work group, designed to draw in service providers in the space and converge their Best Practice, so if your organization is in this space, please look out for the announcement of the opening of this work group. Thank you members iWelcome and Digi.me for your directed funds to bring this most important work forward

If you want to firmly place your brand on the side of good, in an industry consortium that 'does' while others 'talk' then look no further than Kantara and its Sponsorships package here.

Kind Regards,

Colin

In the hype that currently surrounds Blockchain the 'level headedness' of this report is a welcome respite and change. The Blockchain Smart Contracts Discussion Group's report has created high interest and lots of downloads.  Here's what one expert (who shall remain nameless) said;  "It was a pleasure to read, both well written and informative. (I’ve been reading a lot of BAD blockchain papers and articles lately ;-) ). The discussion of Smart Contracts is the best I’ve read. I’m going to pass it around to try to counter all the crazy Smart Contracts will solve all our problems talk going around the [entity redacted ] right now".
