IDESG-KI amalgamation

  • June 25th PR https://kantarainitiative.org/7956-2/
  • IDESG had a grant funding from NIST for a considerable period but came to an end. IDEF Registry has 10 service providers that are self attested. There is a mapping between IDEF v.1 and KI based on 800-63-2.
  • Transition of IDESG committees to IDEF WGs in Kantara. The are some ideas on how to include IDESG into KI WGs, a) IDESG becomes a Subgroup of IAWG group or b) they do something of their own. There are conflicting issues and dynamics we have to work on.
  • They could develop the work separately but we would need a close coordination between IDESG WG and IAWG. In the future we may need to create a Coordinator Group that coordinates all the Trust Frameworks.
