Event Announcement

Event Ice Breaker - Update : Interop Role-Play and Guest Limit

A very good question was asked by a friends child, when I was explaing this idea of masking, the child asked — >   if everyone is masked, can I come on the call ?

Of course, this brings up a set of interesting (tongue and cheek issues for those attending this event).  As a result, the serious question has arisen.  Should we have a call with no trust, with random people on the call?    Should we abandon the masking part of the call all  together ?  For security and risk concerns ? Just so we can discuss the PrivMas Eve theme of digital transparency.

Are there any alternatives to this analogue box we are digitally in ?    It turns out, this un-planned planning style, the expertise of the invited participants, and the historical moment of the PrivMas Eve 2020 call has presented an opportunity for a custom ice-breaker, to answer that question in true PrivMas Eve spirit.   You are now invited to the;

PrivMas Eve Interop Social - role playing event special.  As a result of this update, all invitations are now limited to 1 guest per member or invited participant.
(apologies for not posting earlier if you have invited lots of friends or random people) This is designed to make the call experience more trust-worthy.

 Invitation Scope Update ; Members of the ISI WG, Invited Participants, and a maximum of one -colleagues - guests per person.

Attendee’s can (Optionally) participate in co-creating a trustworthy-social masking protocol.  (If you choose)

To Participate

Please make up a name for your caller ID (on the GotoMeeting call) by using the suggested identity governance naming convention. that is intended to make transparent the governance framework perspectives you feel like representing on the call or even at different time in the call.  (Also, you can exaggerate the name of you favourite governances flavour with a pre expression to futher exaggerate the naming)

For Example,

ISI Members: as hosts -should pick an ISI gov flavour name :  ISI-N&C Gov,  ISI-Intent Gov, etc  (as this is prescribed by the role of hosts)
Framework & Protocol Reps: UMA Gov, Skilz Gov, Nxt-ISO-Gov, Me2B Gov, WoT Gov, and interestingly  - aNG - doesnt need a naming convention - (these examples are not prescriptive)
Likewise - pls ask your guests to affiliate to whatever Gov label you choose to participate under, e.g.  Guest of Gov Name. And for those wishing to be un-afiliated - please name yourself Doc or Joyce to play

Next Update Tomorrow
(More trust and assurance guidance for participation in part of the call will be provided to mimick decentralised governance based ecosystem) and the topic of the interop, with a special guest invitation role for Colin (if he is even able to attend - the un-planned event)

NOTE FOR ENGAGEMENT (an example of the small fine print) - these Announcements and Updates will be appended to the Agenda Page where comments will be welcome and encouraged.  Please refrain from commenting or asking questions until after the Announcement posted tomorrow.

AND , to participate in what is trying to be a completely decentralised interop theme we  encourage people to find a way to engage in expressing comments - via a governance flavoured meme.
