The document is an v2 update, based on input from our last meeting and that of Dr Tom's HIA WG

WG Tools: establish a human-centric, trusted interoperable platform that incorporates a relationship model with privacy-security tools, mDL (mobile drivers license), consent functions and policies.

Items for Charter (Break out into phases):

  • Educate end user on the value of identity assurance
    • Ex. Lay-person-friendly document that explains IAL
  • Education end user for Bring your own Device (BYOD) for authentication/authZ purposes
    • Workforce tools (proximity, keying in orders from device)

WG Scope: Not addressing what is done with your identity. (do not copy, track, share)

  • Jeff: What is done with identity is not our realm. Lots of entities are trying to figure out what can be done about surveillance marketing. They don’t even care who you are.
