- The New Zealand government is considering improvements to RealMe and a possible legislation (high-level, policy) that complements the framework, similar approach to the Australian government.

- US Treasury’s Financial Sector Innovation Policy Roundtable on February 9 - 6 members of Kantara were speakers: ForgeRock, ID.me, Idemia, MIT, Mastercard, Easy Dynamics. It was a good opportunity for greater visibility of Kantara work.
- Upcoming Panels: Connect ID and other opportunities for Kantara members - It was suggested to offer a presentation about Kantara SAC for 63-3, and stress the global nature of Kantara framework and opportunities to operate other schemes, and capability to focus on verticals such as healthcare. Ken and Richard volunteered to prepare that.
- LC started the series of WG presentations - The first session included the implementation of UMA profiles.
Upcoming review and call for comments
- Next steps of Australian Government Consultation on the Digital Identity Legislation: As phase two of the DTA consultation of the legislation, they released 3 draft position papers, Governance of the system, Liability framework, Administration of charges for Digital Identity. They asked inputs from the community on the papers by Thursday, March 4, at midnight EST time. IAWG agreed to review the papers and discuss initial comments on Thursday 25th.
