Peter Capek seconds. No further discussion or objection. The motion carries..

Process for developing assessment criteria is based on a preliminary proposal that will be provide to P3

John: If the request contains an estimate along with the proposal before the leadership council then the reprogramming of funds should be approved.

Anna: FICAM Privacy guidance will be provided to P3 list.

Trent ITAC Update:

  • 10 representatives of ITAC.(half of ITAC)
  • WISP is the privacy working group - Gershon is leading that work.  (Trent and Christine ran this for the last year) - P3 should expect to see an OECD call for comments document but P3 members will need to ask Gershon, Trent or Christine to post in Kantara  for restricted access to this document.  OECD docs cannot be publicly shared or put on any lists.
  • So access for P3 members is possible.
  • IPv6 is very important for policy makers and policy considerations.
  • Trent also gave a presentation on Kantara Trust Framework Model at ITAC (that P3 helped developed in P3.  Focusing on how OECD work can support the Kanatara Trust Framework going forward.
  • In the development of profiles and variation of trust framework.  Needs to be carefully crafted to be interoperable with profiles going forward.

3 ITAC Streams
1. Value of Personal Data Research Project - Asking OECD to spend time and money to evaluate the value.
2. Closing out the IDM work. - We suggest that continue work in this area - call for funding.  WISP is not interested infunding this work, but willing to fund if another membership. Perhaps a link here for Kantara to pave a way for appropriate international perspective in NSTIC.
3. Privacy Guidelines Review - This review has been declassified.

High-level OECD Meeting Overview

  • reaffirm the concept of an open, transparency, neutral, non-controlled infrastructure.
  • skewed towards defensive posturing and protectionism.  Layered in protecting infrastructure.
  • First communique open to non-member states to comment on.
