  • The identity federation marketplace continues to evolve. Well established as a way of easing secure interoperability between closely aligned organizations, as more loosely coupled organizations attempt to federate their IT processes, non-technology issues such as liability and trust get in the way. If the industry can help to break down these barriers to federation it is possible that a vibrant marketplace for outsourced identity services could break out, both improving security, reducing costs, AND generating new revenues. In this session I will discuss what the Kantara IAF is and how it is starting to catalyze this market place for identity services on a global basis.
