10min | New Year Topics | Agenda: From Jim’s Email: Recognizing that in order to assess risk of a designated ‘underserved’ population we first have to define the population, (i.e. deaf, blind, homeless, autistic, etc.), their unique attributes and challenges along with an estimated size with in a geographical area. During our last meeting we agreed to a homework assignment: each member would select and come prepared to share at least one ’underserved’ population, their defining characteristics, challenges and community size in a defined region; in America or a given state. That is tomorrows assignment. Happy New Year and have a restful evening, Jim Jan 3 meeting was held but Secretary, Noreen Whysel did not attend. We are gathering notes from the meeting and will fill in shortly. | |
