Public Comment and IPR Review Period
Introduction
Public Comment and IPR Review is a mechanism that gives the Kantara Initiative members and community an opportunity to provide input and feedback on the Working Groups specifications. The Kantara Initiative publication processes of Public Review and IPR Review are broadly aligned with international standards setting organization processes, to simplify contribution of Kantara Initiative publications to those organizations.
- Duration: Period of at least 45 days.
- Purpose: Opportunity for Kantara Initiative members and community to provide input and feedback on the Working Groups specifications. It is expected that during the 45-day period, Kantara members and community stakeholders conduct internal legal and technical reviews and provide comments on Kantara Group-Approved Recommendations; examine for copyright infringement or IPR claims.
