Request for Review and Comment: 63A_SAC at IAL2 and IAL3

Dear IAWG Participants,

The Special Sub-Group formed to draft Service Assessment Criteria (SAC) for 63A at Identity Assurance Level 3 completed its work last Wednesday.  The draft SAC (KIAF NIST SP 800-63A Service Assessment Criteria at IAL2&3 - KIAF 1430 v3.1.7) is attached HERE. 

As per its development process (https://kantarainitiative.org/trustoperations/sac-development-process/), the draft SAC is now ready for IAWG review, comment and approval.  The principal editor presented this SAC during yesterday’s IAWG meeting and members approved a call for comments.  Members also approved a parallel ’12 month review’ of all criteria, so please review not just the changes arising from the extension to address IAL3 but ALL criteria in this SAC.

The plan is, if there are no significant issues, to have IAWG vote on acceptance of the Draft SAC at a meeting on 2020-07-09. In order to prepare for this vote we would like your inputs/comments/suggestions by 23:59UTC on 2020-07-02.  If you have significant problems, and need additional time to prepare your comments, please let me know as soon as possible by return email.
