AI review

Jin has communicated with Dominick Baier, and has introduced UMA as an area of inquiry. Might Thinktecture be interested to implement UMA and participate in the interop activities?

George looked into the OIDC MTI situation. There are two forms: If you're implementing the protocol in a closed environment (static registration etc.), then there's no requirement for the authorization_code flow. This is in Section 15 of OIDC Core. But if you're implementing it in an open environment (dynamic registration etc.), you're required to implement that flow. Does this speak to what we should do in our spec? Perhaps this tells us that we should make it MTI, since in (say) a single-org environment the deployers are free not to care about achieving conformance, but might end up buying a product that has achieved conformance (by, in part, correctly implementing this flow). Another interpretation would be that the dividing line is simply dynamic registration, which for us is an objective standard because the endpoint must be declared in the config data.

AI: Eve: Add to the GitHub issue on MTI for authorization_code.

Interop and event planning

Interop: What's standing in the way of actually beginning self-directed virtual interop activities? We need to collect more participant and solution data. The testing would have to proceed with pairwise entity tests. It would be great to convene a session, or maybe two sessions together, where implementors could get together and start the process of testing.

IIW: Roland is interested to convene a session there about the feature tests and his test suite.

EIC: The presentation about UMA will address Life Management Platform concerns. LMP is about personal data. There will be an UMA presence at the Kantara workshop too. Maciej and Mark will coordinate on potentially including Kennisnet info in the workshop etc.

CIS: It appears UMA will have a presence on the agenda of the event somehow. A recent email blast talked about "Authorization.vNext (including UMA)"; we're not sure who the speaker is.
