Action items
Frank to send an email to the group regarding discovery of hData, service providers - is that a part of UMA or should this be separate? Everyone is encouraged to look at the email and provide input in the etherpad.
Confirm ad hoc meeting dates
The ad hoc meeting (in addition to the regular Thursday meeting) is Wednesday, June 22, at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm UK.
Protocol revisions: core spec
Thomas discusses the current revision of the specification. There will be a new section introduced. Discussion on how the host authenticates to the AM. Thomas plans to add more text to more text to section 2.2. Now there are issues numbered at the back (and included in the text for easier reading). Most issues from Lukas have been added, these from Cordny have not been included yet. The list of issues will be deleted form the documentation before submission.
We then decided to go through the issues that are at the back of the specification document:
Issue 1
Frank suggests that claims should not be in specific format. Thomas this we should point to external documents (e.g. similarly to pointing out to SAML).
Issue 2
OAuth is silent about the types of claims.
Issue 6 & 7
These will be provided by the SMART team members. They will also provide concerete examples for the entire specification.
Cordny also discusses HTTP error messages, UMA error messages. Correct error messages need to be discussed and properly indicated what is handled where. Sometimes an error messages required HTTP success codes (and not error codes - for example an invalid token from a requester during validation request generates an HTTP success but itself uses an UMA error for the host).
Interface between UMA and trusted claims (OpenID Connect)
Domenico will discuss that more thoroughly during the next meeting and on the mailing list.
