Roundtable-any new efforts in standards?

Group

  • Women in Identity - Code of Conduct work, hoping to end up with some principles (Kay)

    • Potential to hand this off to Kantara

Charter

Jordan/Peter

  • Looking to shift into a Work Group structure

  • Deliverables (some of these are from the initial charter)

    • Peter-notes ‘develop’ language, should we adjust to more tangible deliverables?

    • Wes-is it enough for Kantara to develop these? Is success simply writing these or it submitting these ahead of rev. 4?

    • Additions:

      • Publish Kantara perspective

      • Document catalog of use cases

  • Proposed technical specifications

    • At present-serves as a placeholder (DG would not deliver tech. specs and Kantara doesn’t typically publish these). Perhaps change to technical recommendations

  • IPR Policy

    • Not particular to a certain one

    • Jordan poses shifting to RAND (more lenient covenant is helpful)

  • Audience

    • Natural/legal persons? Those with green cards/birthright citizenship, working through visa/immigration

      • Any consideration of criminal background?

      • These apply within someone’s homeland, not necessarily outside.

Survey questions

Jordan

  • Use as a feedback loop and identify trends

  • Hopes to edit the questions in future use

  • Seeking clarity in standards

  • Peter D-did we review responses and set actions?

    • The most common themes matched what Kantara had already started doing (terminology, etc)

  • ACTION: Target completing 2024 Survey (prepare materials/link for survey to be available at conferences (goal: Identiverse, FED-ID)

  • AMG: De-identify results
