Status update on Kantara's comments on FICAM TFS documents

• FICAM TFS comments from IAWG were consolidated with the ARB and other comments and have been sent to FICAM for consideration

• Discussion on NASPO/ANSI draft standard for IDPV

  • The draft needs some work still

  • FICAM TFS is only referencing one specific section of the document 

  • ISO 29003 is still in draft and has some challenges - will probably be some time before it surfaces

800-63 mapping document

• Numbering scheme does exist for IAF documents (there is a slide deck on the wiki somewhere - RGW will send the version he has)

• '5' is the level; '4' is the most closely related IAF document; '63' is to reference 800-63

• This report is Informative, should not go to all member ballot

• MOTION: Move to post it on the Kantara site once document numbering is finalized: Furr; Seconded: Shorter; Discussion: None; Motion carried

Discussion on 

• Andrew gave an overview of the document history

• Should this document be incorporated into the AAS?

  • Yes: to keep the number of documents as low as possible

  • No: there are several documents that are independent but referenced in the AAS - allows for flexibility and smaller chunks of text to deal with

• MOTION: Move to incorporate Sections 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 of the ACR Discussion document into the AAS and the "ACR Pro Forma" document to be a standalone document referenced in the AAS: Andrew; Second: Bill Braithwaite; Discussion: none; Motion carried.

'Modular IAF' status update

• Hughes reports that work has started on the "Deployment Patterns" section of the document. This section takes the functions and organizations described in the first section and applies them to real deployments to see if the model actually works.

• FICAM/NIST800-63 and Government of Canada (brokered and non-brokered) patterns have been drafted and are in the sub-group for review and discussion
