1:00PMEST | DII Document Revision | @Justin Byrd | Briefing on the rework of our WG's DII document. We'll be distributing tomorrow (mid-morning) an outline for a brief discussion on the path Justin is considering and will be seeking your input. Based on comments shared tomorrow we are planning to have a revised draft at our next meeting; so please attend. Justin described his research on ways to reformat and develop potential implementation, such as using NFT/blockchain type structure. He found no conflicts with NIST 800-63. Tom said the process for verifying the ID of a person would include at minimum a biometric and trusted person, such as a provider that knows the individual. |
1:15PMEST |
| @Tom Jones | DII discussion (lead-tom J) relating to comments shared about adding name-value pairs following the follow proposal set forth in the following link: Updated document: Purpose Consent Query 2.docx Voted to include a reference to the Purpose Consent Query document on Tom’s wiki and post it as a viewable document into the Kantara Wiki. We won’t put the value or minimum script example in the DII document. |
2:00PMEST | @Jorge Flores | Additional Use Cases to describe | Described a use case where people had to pay a fee to submit an application on behalf of a farm worker using their own phone. Use case where more than one user shares a phone.
