2021-02-25 Minutes were approved by motion. Moved: Mark King Seconded: Mark Hapner. Unanimous approval.
Consider necessary changes to subject-focused criteria.
- Richard presented the proposed changes to the CO_SAC criteria which inherently address subjects/subscribers can be more broadly applicable in case of component services, which are the subject of the assessment.
- IAWG agreed on the Component-Service Consumer definition as it follows, which was added to the Guidance Column:
Component-Service Consumer: "an organization which may use the service functions provided by the Component Service which is the subject of an assessment.
Notes: 1) This term is limited strictly to this context of service assessments and the applicability of criteria.
2) This term is included within the very broad term "User".
- CO#0080 criteria were absorbed by CO#0900.
- Component-Service Consumers was added to CO#0900, CO#0120, CO#0130.
- Regarding CO#0900 item b), Mark King asked if it would be worth to change "Privacy Policy" with "Data Protection". It was agreed to add both, so now the criterion reads "Privacy/Data Protection Policy".
- CO#0140, Mark King pointed out that "timely manner" should be more specific, so the group agreed to replace it with "within a defined time period"
Second Phase of Australian Government Consultation on the Digital Identity Legislation - Kantara initial comments on draft position papers
- Ken said that the last draft position paper was released by DTA, Scope and Interoperability Position Paper
- Mark King pointed out the comments he made on the following papers: Administration of Charges for Digital Identity; Liability Framework; Privacy and other safeguards; Scope and Interoperability Position Paper
- Ken added comments on the Canadian government model to the "Administration of Charges of Digital Identity" paper.
- Tim said that he commented on the Scope and Interoperability Position Paper and Liability Framework papers.
- It was reminded to the group that the deadline to submit the comments is March 16th CoB EST.
