Notes from call on 2017-01-24:
We need to be careful to keep vendors from having undue influence on the BoK. How do we do that?
If a certification is involved in membership, we would have to restrict the complimentary memberships to folks to passed the certification.
If platinum level is allowed to email the list, we should restrict the number of platinum levels available, email the list directly (rather than handing over all the email addresses), and moderate the emails somehow to make sure they are potentially providing value rather than just spamming.
We should keep in mind an idea of their willingness to support the organization with good intent.
"Supporters" might be a better word to use.
Should we be transparent about how much each level costs? Or should we negotiate individually with organizations?
Is silver/gold/platinum a good naming convention?
