Agenda

Status and further steps for the Trust Framework Inventory:

  1. Summary:
    BCTF will propose to the LC to write up a Kantara Report, titled something like "BCTF Trust Framework Deployment Analysis". Based on the data collected so far that report shall contain the summary and analysis on currently deployed trust frameworks.
  2. Action Item: Patrick will submit the proposal at the next LC call on June 20th.
  3. Scheduled activities:
    Rainer will present a preliminary analysis next week in Paris at the EEMA, and in July in Vail at the CIS.
  4. Time permitting, Rainer plans to move the data from Excel to a cloud database and make it available vie the Web in summer. The spreadsheet is not useful for web presentation and multiuser access.
  5. We agreed that the raw data should only be accessible to Kantara members, and only summary reports be made availably to non-members.
  6. Keith and Rainer agree that the data would be a good sales tool for new federations, e.g. by duplicating business cases into other countries.
  7. We will address people in our communities with 3 questions regarding the data:
    1. Share/update data from federations where they are knowledgeable or even have some authority;
    2. Give feedback regarding the structure and use of the data;
    3. Respond whether they have interest in interfederation;
    4. If they would like to participate in BCTF.
  8. Action Item: After a decision on the report by the LC Rainer will address the Kantara community via eMail. If welcome also with short presentations in other WG meetings.
  9. Keith mentioned, that there are cases listet in the table, which wold rather qualify as application portals than federations. We agreed, that the data has to be cleaned and federated application should be moved to a separated table.
  10. The cross-border scenario should be thought over. What is the difference to another federation? Liability? To be discussed.

End: 21:10
