Sal asked Susan to update the call attendees about the governance discussion around the IRM paper held last week Susan told WG members that it was decided to create a generic paper first, focussing on the actual principles of IRM so it could inform design and allow interested parties to understand the scope and value of the new paradigm in identity management for the connected web Susan also noted that Ian would be making some changes to his relationships document based on comments he has had from WG members

Bill has created a mindmap of the work tasks ahead using a Cloud based solution Susan will ask Bill to see which WG members are interested in working on the document with him - Bill taking editorial ownership

Post the generic document, a series of documents targeting specific audiences will be created Ken said that these should ideally be written by people who understood this audience well and could apply the correct message

All agreed that once the generic document was about 80% complete we could set priorities for getting the targeted documents done

Sal caveated that this list could change

Sal asked if technologies already existed that at least performed some of the spcifics of IRM Susan said she believed they did, citig her own companies platform as well as the UMA protocol

However, Ken/Keith? suggested that we cant know this until the generic document is agreed upon

Don said he believed that another company, Jericho Systems was also working on an IRM type system and thought they should be invited to attend group meetings All agreed this would be good

It was agreed that we should ask Bill, as editor of the document contact WG members to start the ball rolling and have a meeting to make headway on the document

Sal also suggested that Ian makes contact to give the group an update on what's happening re the relationships document

All agreed that we need more involvement from different industry players to really have impact within the IRM WG To this end all members asked to contact people they think would be useful to be involved
