Notes

  • Will continue in sprints to review issues as they arise
  • Better to look at nodes instead.  Designs need to do this in order to model well at scale as made evident by needs to manage growing number of types of devices and those relationships.
  • Perhaps instead of laws and axioms are what we are talking and the attributes of relationships?  In any case this is a first revision so further refinements are expected.
  • Need to reset the baseline for relationship context metadata.  Look for group to contribute what this might be, who it is characterizes and how it impacts system designs.  In particular we want to look at the nature of this data at the time of exchange or interaction.
  • We want to make these relationships visible in a way that they can be used.  Try to make things that can represent social norms in addition to things that we try to define or automate.
  • For discussion among the group, nice to start a thread, what is the work plan after the next 3 months?  Perhaps "finalizing" laws and definitions and to have an evaluation tool available in an RSA timeframe

Action Items

  1. Ian will close out first sprint and put in edits sufficient to start a second sprint.  (In the context of trying to get a draft out for IRM World ).
  2. Sal volunteered Bill in lieu of other volunteer to spike this effort.  Good topic for conversation in Dublin
  3. Sal to put together text for landing page about why we are undertaking this consistent with statement in working documents.  Something along the lines that to deal solely with identity information is unnatural, even sociopathic (1/2 in jest).
