5. Helsinki F2F Review

F2F Helsinki was held in Helsinki at Ubisecure on 12-14 March.

Minutes taken by Jonas have not yet been transcribed to the wiki.

Jonas: general impression . very good, good discussion on many issues, especially the R&D project

Mobile Monday in Helsinki - Finnish Telco dignitaries told about Mobile World Congress. Main take aways:

- Apple was not present at all, and what message does that send to the industry

- NFC importance for payment applications - move away from credit cards. Industry predicting NFC rollout within 18 month.

Feedback to Ingo for R&D project proposal

Elisa visit (Finnish Operator), Ingo presented the R&D project.

9. Next F2F

Kantara F2F - Munich
Kantara Plenary, Munich 12-14 April (Including additional day prior just for TelcoID work items. Venue for TelcoID work day TBD)

Definite attendees: Keith, Jonas, Ingo, Philippe, Gaël.

Telco ID group will meet at DT (T-Systems) in Munich on 11 April for one day of work before the Kantara Event. Colin Wallis (eGov WG Chair) will join us in the afternoon.

It was decided to all stay at Ibis Garching if possible, for communal travel to DT office. Keith, Jonas and Gaël fly in on Wednesday night. Ingo will not participate Saturday. Philippe will participate on Saturday, but not earlier.

DT Cross Operator Project - Berlin

We will have an opportunity to meet at the Cross Operator project planning meeting in Berlin at DT. Invitation have already been sent. Date set for Berlin 23rd-24th April.

DT project was presented at the OpenID summit in London

No skeptical responses. Questions regarding WAC etc

Good feedback from UK government representative (Curry?)

Reaction from Telefonica

Planning meeting invitation has been sent with agenda.

Ingo requests from participants to decide and define what they want to do in detail before the meeting.

Contacts: NTT/Docomo europe is interested, but no direct asian contacts

European Identity Conference - Kantara summit

EIC 17-20 April  (Kantara summit on opening day): Jonas not going to EIC, but would go to the summit, Ingo not sure on EIC, Philipe will attend. Keith not attending.
