1. Administrative

Summary:

  • 3 out of 5 voting members - quorum reached

  • Action: JB to contact AJ, MR, HM to advise loss of voting rights.

  • April 4th Minutes: Scott Moves, Allan Seconds

2. Progress on the SAML test harness

Summary:

  • Types are complete and AT is ready to send next release to Roland @ Fedlab.

3. Consideration of OAuth 2.0 Interop testing

Summary:

  • JB noted increased interest/activity around the notion of OAuth interop testing. Testing without an API makes it hard. Re-use current OpenID tests? 

  • JB socialised the need for an eGov profile of OAuth - to close up security holes - basically a profile comprising 50% deployment, 50% profile rules.

  • JB asks for deployment plans for OAuth from govs. AH thinks BC may be deploying OAuth in relation to key exchange with SecureKey app. CW says it's on NZ's roadmap but no date set yet. RH: early discussion

of OAuth used (instead of SAML Attribute Query profile) as being part of AT citizen card where additional attributes required.

  • CW: Maybe an OAuth profile for a basic Authz use case would be useful.

  • Action: RH and CW to socialize the notion over on the eGov WG list

  • Action: JB to create an OAuth profile strawman as a basis to kick start some proposed use cases and deployment feedback

4. Kantara, OIX and other meta-data aggregator projects

Summary:

  • REFEDS MDX: Call is being scheduled soon and JB sent call details to the list. AF expressed interest.

5. AOB
