2. Prior Action Items

Joe: Drill down on #3
Joe will review UMA lexicon : Eve reported on lexicon update at UMA. Joe will update our lexicon .

Colin broke our lexicon into chunks.

Iain will follow the report with regard to Lucy's invitation, will ask Lucy if they have a travel budget for Joe. Still pending.
Iain is working on Mark's report. This is the week's top priority.

Mark will check his contract re IPR status: work for hire and what jurisdiction. As backup, Trent will research IPR status of Mark's report with Kantara, also procedure to push to Working Gp Report, ultimately Kantara report. Still pending.

Judi created 2-3 slides, emailed to Trent.
Judi added Joe's data ownership blog post to Kantara wiki (here).

3. Update on Literature Review

Iain expects to send update to review on Wednesday. Deadline for report is presentation on Mar 18 at Map the Gaps conference.

4. New Business and 5. Personal RFP / Stage 3

Iain cited on personal data store and data warehousing in Eve's article  citing Iain's article on Personal Data Store. Joe noted that our lexicon is consonant with this article. Eve noted that a personal data store may be user-chosen "hoster of resources that shares..." e.g., personal health data store may share and add to personal feed. Joe noted that the ability to handle "other stuff" adds complexity, PDS of record vs group form (like a dashboard, control management vs view or perceiving the data), authorization manager. Transforming of data from one form to another has nothing to do with act of sharing results. What to call these service providers? Eve explained dissent with term "4th Party" as not helpful and confusing, jargony, political, conceptually muddy; suggests "service provider" such as "authorization service provider". Joe: there's a class of entities that we're trying to create to handle this; Eve suggests data sharing relationship management service provider (analytic, other), meaning "service provider" is specified. Description has problems where an entity (such as Mydex) is multi-purpose. Discussion and exploration will continue.

Going forward: where we're talking about a specific service provider, need to call it out as such.

6. Action Item Review

Joe will update our lexicon (relative to UMA updated lexicon)

Joe will do quick update on his blog post located on Kantara wiki

Joe and Iain will have offline discussion about briefing Curtis

Iain will confirm travel plans with Lucy, will settle plans tomorrow (Tues Mar 2)

Iain will send literature review on Wednesday to group for feedback

Iain will move his article on Personal Data Store onto Kantara wiki

Judi will review Joe's User Scenario doc, update personal datastore, synchronize other lexicon-related issues, draft action break out. Send to Iain and Joe for feedback.
